Ilmatar

The bronze ”Ilmatar” by Kari Juva is one of Helsinki's relatively unknown public statues. It was completed in 1982, upon the request by the Commercial Finnish TV station, and it is located in a very remote place in the station compound in Ilmala. Fine figured ”Ilmatar” can be identified as a part of Kari Juva’s high-volume sculpture production, that can be found and appreciated in various public places in cities of Finland.
